I’m excited to share a newly published study that shows how breath-based HRV biofeedback significantly reduced PTSD symptoms and improved daily functioning in people with chronic pain.

Over 6 weeks, participants learned to regulate their nervous system using their breath—no medication, no intensive therapy—and the results were powerful:
✅ 25.5% drop in PTSD symptoms
✅ Clinically meaningful improvement in how pain affected daily life
✅ Significant reduction in depression, anxiety, and stress
✅ Only 7% dropout (much lower than typical trauma therapies)

This is big news for those of us working with the breath, the body, and the nervous system. It validates what many of us already see in practice: when we support physiological regulation, healing follows.
