Estelle and her family made the move from South Africa to Australia in 2002, settling in Newcastle. With an early career in financial modelling and reporting within the mining industry, Estelle’s curiosity for health and medical science soon inspired a significant career shift. She completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Newcastle in 2017, followed by a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetic Medicine) in 2020. These academic achievements underpin her holistic philosophy on health, nutrition, and breathing, shaping her unique clinical approach.

Estelle’s passion for breathwork began in 2004 when she challenged herself to run with her mouth closed—a deceptively difficult feat! In 2008, her interest deepened when her young children received Buteyko Breath training from a myofascial dentist, successfully avoiding the need for braces by correcting their breathing patterns early on. Eager to expand her expertise,Estelle trained with renowned breath coach Brian Mackenzie at the Art of Breath event in 2015.

She has since earned certifications in XPT Life Performance Breathing, Buteyko, Surf Apnea, and Oxygen Advantage. Most recently, she completed her School of Breath Science certification in 2024, further enriching her understanding of respiratory science and breath coaching.

Driven by a relentless curiosity, Estelle is constantly exploring the intricate connections between breathing, biochemistry, and nutrition. Her scientific background empowers her to translate complex research into practical, accessible strategies that empower her clients to take charge of their health.

As a qualified Clinical Nutritionist and Performance Breath Coach, Estelle specialises in longevity and performance. She offers both group workshops and individual coaching, helping clients unlock the transformative benefits of optimal breathing—from better sleep and stress resilience to enhanced focus in the workplace.

Estelle believes that dysfunctional breathing is both a cause and a consequence of many health challenges, including anxiety, hypertension, and asthma. She is passionate about showing clients how simple breath practices can deliver immediate and lasting results—often more accessible than traditional stress management methods like meditation.

Above all, Estelle relishes the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, each striving to become the best version of themselves.

Based in Newcastle with her husband, Estelle enjoys staying active and cherishes time with her two young adult sons. Whether it’s strength training, running, cycling, swimming, hiking, or the occasional surf, she’s always seeking new ways to nurture her own wellbeing and inspire others to do the same.
