Tom’s approach to breath training is strongly influenced by his background in martial arts, including Thai boxing and Filipino martial arts (Eskrima/Kali), where efficient breathing, calmness under pressure, and coordinated movement are essential.
Today he combines breath science with movement training, coordination work, and boxing-inspired formats such as Fitboxen and Neuroboxen. His focus is on making breathing practical and directly applicable — not only for relaxation, but also for performance, resilience, and the ability to stay calm and efficient under stress.
Alongside his coaching work, Tom also develops concepts that connect breathing, movement, and playful learning. One example is SpiFi.fit, a multilingual platform designed to inspire simple movement and breathing exercises in schools, workplaces, and everyday environments.
His professional background includes training in breath science, neuroathletic training, and the Oxygen Advantage method, which shape his science-informed and practice-oriented coaching approach.
Tom works with individuals, groups, and athletes, with a particular interest in endurance sports, functional training, and real-world environments where breathing can directly influence performance, recovery, and resilience.
His goal is to make breath science accessible, understandable, and truly usable in everyday life.
