I’m Natasha, although most people know me as Tash!
I’m a registered osteopath, founder of Body Engineering Health, and a practitioner with a genuine fascination for how the human body works.
Before qualifying as an osteopath, I spent many years working in healthcare, complementary therapies and the fitness industry. These experiences have shaped my belief that our bodies shouldn’t be viewed as individual parts, but as interconnected systems.
My osteopathic work focuses on understanding the relationship between movement, biomechanics, the nervous system and overall health. I’ve also undertaken postgraduate training in paediatric osteopathy, further developing my understanding of human development and physiology.
More recently, I completed my Breath Science Certification with the School of Breath Science, expanding my knowledge of respiratory biomechanics, breathing biochemistry, nervous system regulation, sleep, exercise and the mind-body connection.
What fascinates me most is that breathing is something we do automatically, thousands of times a day, yet very few of us stop to consider how we’re doing it.
Our breathing patterns can influence how we respond to stress, how we move, how we sleep and how we feel.
By combining breath science with my osteopathic knowledge, I aim to help individuals develop a greater understanding of their breathing patterns and how these may influence their physical and emotional wellbeing.
My approach is educational, practical and tailored to the individual. I believe that small, sustainable changes can make a meaningful difference to how we experience everyday life.
Above all, I’m passionate about empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to take a more active role in their own health.
Because understanding your body is the first step towards looking after it.
