Hi, I’m Lovisa Engstrand — a certified breath science practitioner, stress counselor, Pilates teacher and the founder of The Exhale Collective.
My work is based on my five pillars of health, movement, sleep, nutrition, stress management and connection. This is rooted in the belief that healing begins in the nervous system. With a background in psychology (BA) and additional training & certifications in breathwork, somatic practices, and nervous system education, I help people shift out of survival mode and into a state of presence, resilience, and deep connection with themselves.
Before launching my practice, I spent years living and working around the world. My travels and life experience gave me a front-row seat to both the beauty and burnout of the modern human condition. I’ve always been fascinated by people, by behavior, by how we cope and what we long for underneath the surface.
Movement has always been my anchor. Whether through long-distance runs, strength training, Pilates or daily walks to clear my mind, I’ve come to deeply understand the interplay between the body, the breath, and the brain. I now integrate that wisdom into every part of my work.
Through breathwork classes, online programs, and 1:1 coaching, I guide people toward more regulated, sustainable, and embodied lives—using simple tools that create real change. My approach is warm, honest, science-informed, and grounded in the belief that we don’t need to fix ourselves—we just need to come home to ourselves.
Welcome to The Exhale Collective. I’m so glad you’re here.
